I want to brag so bad, not just to tell you but showing you what I have accomplished. I know it’ll piss you off and there is nothing that’ll make me happier than knowing I have beaten you. Think about it, the way you made me afraid to take steps, the way I hesitated on the matters that would have made me exceptional long ago. If you have a face, I want to be there before you, bragging. Hey, look at me now, I am not the guy I used to be. I am happier and successful in a way am sure you never imagined. I took baby steps, one step at a time and here I am, happy and successful.
The Late Muhamad Ali worked hard to get the right to brag, before being called the greatest he gave himself the tittle. He was once quoted saying “If you even dream of beating me..You'd better wake up & apologize”, he was the best, he knew it and bragged about it. He had the right to, through persistence and hard work he managed to be the man we all know him for. The late Ali, is one of those people who have attained level of success that you have to reach to gain your bragging right.
The ultimate joy of achieving the dreams you deeply desired for years, am not sure how many things can beat that feeling. Some of us are lucky enough to be born with golden spoons, some have to climb the mountains to reach where they want to be. Personally I have read stories of people who were born in nice families but wanted to experience the journey themselves, they abandoned wealth their families had and hustled their way up the ladder of success, I admire that strength and willingness to try.
I want to achieve that level of success that will allow me to brag, the difference with Muhammad Ali,
I don’t want to brag to the world, I want to boast to no one rather than my inner fears. Those beasts inside me that in so many ways have tried so hard to make sure that I don’t move forward, we all have things within us that’s making us reluctant of taking action, those are our worst enemies and once we’ve beaten them we can brag proudly not to the world, not to friends or our enemies in the world but to ourselves.
Anybody can brag but I want to have the right to do so, I want the fears that our hearts carry to know how much willingness can take people that if these fears can communicate with one another they can pass the message around that they are only powerful when the person they dwell on lets them to be.
We all deserve shutting down our inner doubts, we deserve taking steps without fear, we deserve to be winners. Let’s be Ali but brag silently to doubts we have of ourselves.
