Kumekuwa na hisia kuwa mwanamuziki mwenye asili ya Canada Aubrey Graham "Drake" hayupo katika crew ya YMCMB. Ishu ya Drake kujiondoa Young Money imechochewa na interview ya memba wa kundi hilo nicki Minaj aliyofanya na Funk Master Flexx siku kama mbili zilizopita. Mapema Januari mwaka huu ilisemekana Drake alikuwa mbioni kuiacha YMCB ili kujiunga na Roc Nation lakini uongozi wa Young Money na Drake mwenyewe walikanusha na Drake akaendelea kufanya kazi zake na Young Money. Katika interview hiyo Minaj alishindwa kukanusha ishu hiyo hali iliyosababisha wachambuzi wa mambo ku-link hiyo hali na kukosana kwa YMCMB. Nicki Minaj hata hivyo alionesha mapenzi yake makubwa kwa bosi wake Lil Wayne “Sometimes when you are really intelligent and really talented, you also think a lot and sometimes your mind is racing with thoughts. It is what it is, people go through their own motions, and you got to respect it and keep it moving. I think like we all love the team. We all love Wayne and that’s what is all going to keep us together. Drake is my baby. That’s how it was when we came in. Whatever is going on now – obviously we’re all very busy and you know sh-t happens. It gets a little hard to have a real connection when people are on different sides of the world and working on different things. You just never know who people got in their ear or what their feelings [may be] or maybe they felt wronged in some way. I don’t know. Baada ya rumors hizo Drake anatarajiwa kupanda jukwaani tena katika tamasha la muziki linaloandaliwa na iHeart radio. Rapa huyo ataungana na mastaa wengine kama Justin Timberlake, Elton John, J Cole, Bruno Mars, Katty Perry, Ke$ha na Maroon 5 miongoni mwa wengi katika shoo hiyo.
